MEET YOUR COACH



Sharon Johnson is a USA Certified Triathlon, Cycling, and RRCA Running coach.

She has an extensive background in strength training for swimming, cycling, and running and sport specific technique training. She coaches athletes in all disciplines of all levels.

Better training leads to running IMPROVEMENT and ENJOYMENT.

No matter what your current level of run fitness is, Coach Sharon Johnson will help your overall running experience and keep you motivated through 12 weeks of comprehensive weekly workouts.

All registered Feaster Five Virtual Event participants will have access to coaching videos by Sharon, which will help you become a stronger, more efficient runner.

The weekly videos will include segments on mobility (strength, flexibility and balance), track and hill workouts, and drills for runners.

Registrants will receive 3 videos per week, each from 10-20 minutes long.

The virtual workouts can be completed anywhere, anytime, at your convenience. Videos will explain the purposes of each exercise as well as the proper technique. Track and hill repeats will be explained and demonstrated, so that runners can complete the workouts at their own pace.

                          Couch-To-5K Program                          

Your Coaching Team



Maura, Paul and Steve are the coaches for the Couch to 5K program.  Collectively they have over 50 years of running experience.  They've run all race distances and love sharing their tips and strategies for getting ready for Feaster Five - either as a beginner or a seasoned runner.

An important tradition of the Feaster Five Road Race has been the Couch to 5K training program, which helps motivate and train race participants. In the past, this training program was held in Andover, MA, on the race course every Sunday for eight weeks.

Due to COVID-19, the Couch to 5k program will be held virtually on Sundays from October 4th to November 22nd, 2020, via Zoom.

This will offer event participants the unique opportunity to socialize with others over Zoom and share in the training traditions of the Feaster Five .
